This kit is not for the Shaft Drive kit.
MAKE SURE TO LET US KNOW IF YOU HAVE A KZ1000 AND WHAT YEAR AND MODEL IT IS AT THE TIME OF ORDER. WE SEND DIFFERENT BOLTS FOR THE HEAD COVER DEPENDING ON THE YEAR.
THE KZ1000 REQUIRE LARGER NUTS FOR THE EXHAUST FLANGES AND THE 1979-83 MODELS HAVE DIFFERENT HEAD COVERS.
WE SEND THE EXHAUST NUTS FOR THE KZ900 AND HEAD COVER BOLTS FOR THE MODELS THROUGH 1978, UNLESS WE ARE TOLD BY YOU THAT YOU HAVE A 1979-83 KZ1000 MODEL.
Installing this kit is very simple. Just remove one bolt at a time and replace it with the correct bolt and washer from the kit and tighten. All component kits are seperated and clearly marked as to where they go.
These bolts are great looking and will not rust.
This kit consists of the following individually packaged and labeled component kits:
Starter Cover, Stator Cover, Clutch Cover, Head Cover, Dyna Ignition Cover, Kick Cover, Kick Start Pinch Bolt, Exhaust Flange Nuts, Intake, Sprocket Cover
We use Allen bolts with our custom made washers for proper coverage to replace the old stock panhead screws. We use Socket flathead screws to replace the Ovalheads so the new bolts all match in appearance.
These fasteners have been through our polishing process and the finish is much brighter than a standard stainless steel bolt.
